Cinematic Elements of a film are broken down into three categories. They are: Camera Techniques, Editorial Techniques, and Plastic Materials. The lists below offer a basic description of each category. All films have some of these. Very few have them all.
Camera Techniques
- Angle shots
- Animation stand techniques
- Balance within frame

- Double exposures(superimpositions)
- Special use of film stock
- Special use of lenses(zoom, wide angle, fisheye)
- Mirror photography techniques

Editorial Techniques
- Color effects
