This site is dedicated foremost to the enjoyment of Asian cinema, but is also a celebration of all things Asia located right here in San Antonio, Texas. As one of Texas' oldest and most historic cities, San Antonio has been applauded for its cultural diversity as well as its Hispanic heritage. However, with the exception of a few annual events, I feel Asia has been passed over as being too foreign and unfamiliar to fit into San Antonio's tastes. I beg to differ and invite people in San Antonio with even the vaguest interest in Asia to join the club and see what they've been missing. Along the way I hope to introduce everyone to new people, new ideas, and perhaps even a new perspective of the "foreign." Most importantly though, I'd like everyone to have FUN!
Although this site is still quite young, I hope this project will expand into greater things for folks in San Antonio. A club like this relies on the strength and number of its members. If you are interested at all you must join the mailing list or I won't know you exist. Thanks!!
